Yes, I say it like that cuz it's starting to get to me... :0)
The parentals are laying on a guilt trip about aunts and uncles being invited to the ceremony. The problem is that we're getting married on a smallish boat, and we would MUCH prefer to have our close friends and immediate family vs. all family, which is what it would have to be since my mom has 9 brothers and sisters and my dad has 4 siblings. Geez. The boat only holds 55-60 people on the inside part where heat is an option we really might need in April in NY!
They are not all gonna fit.
I have gotten to the point where I am telling the parentals to invite their siblings but advise them to bring a coat because standing outside on a boat in April in NY isn't going to be toasty warm. Ugs.
I am very glad that R is paying for this portion of the event. This way my parents kinda know they can't control it. EVERYONE is invited to the reception, but everyone can't be invited on the boat... I don't see a way to invite some but not others and still be fair. I think its best to leave it as it is, which is immediate family and close friends.
Some people won't fit. That's just the way it is.
Ah, venting. :0)
Happy Wednesday peeps!
