I Need Help, Most Likely from the Ladies

Ok, so R's mom made these for us and I love them, but I am honestly not at all sure what they are for.

The parentals are meeting in Feb and all will be here at some point, and I don't want them hanging in the kitchen if they are hand towels or hanging in the bathroom if they are meant to be napkins etc. etc. etc! They are white so I really can't imagine they are towels of any sort but who knows???
