As of this weekend I will be done training to be a trainer. Me? Certified and accredited??? It’s been an interesting and scary ride! I am petrified still of being on my own and talking in front of all the people, but I am trying to keep my mind in check so that I don’t back out last minute… we shall see what transpires! I have made a few mistakes along the way, but it’s good that they are quickly fixed by the area trainer (AT) so that I can learn from them and move on. I have also run into the problem of a dog not doing what I want them to do which I find very frustrating, but the AT tells me to keep at it and not give up and eventually the dog does comply… I dunno!

R and I talked a bit ago about me cutting a day off of my full time job. That would be sweet because I would still have a 2 day weekend, just off from everyone else… I am not sure if my company will allow it, but in August we are going to examine it a bit further to see if it makes sense. AND it’s all resting on whether or not the whole training thing can be pulled off by moi.

I work tomorrow (LAST DAY IN TRAINING??? EEK!) but have no plans for the rest of the weekend. I am on furlough on Monday so it’s errand and appt day. Fun fun! But at least I can sleep in…
