Bird Poop

Ever since the bird crapped on my shoulder things have been looking up. Haha I have been wanting to say that for almost a week now, but in all reality, ever since we heard that the barn is moving forward things have been looking up!

Saturday night I was outside with R smoking a cig. It was then that we noticed there were birds nesting in my plants. Not a big deal at all, I will not bother them in the least aside from when I hafta water my plants... that said they scare the crap outta me whenever I inadvertently scare the crap outta them. And scare the crap out of one I did, literally... I was left with poop on my shoulder. I was like R! Look at this! Can you believe it? I then texted SB of the news since it cracked me up, and she assured me that it is good luck when you get crapped on by a bird. Go figure. :0)

I have had two training classes graduate. I remembered to send around the comment sheet last night and told them to PLEASE be honest because I needed all the negative and positive feedback they had to offer in order to improve and learn. I also assured them it would be anonymous, they didn’t have to put their names on the form, and I would let them mix up the order after they handed them in so I would have no idea who wrote what. I wanted to ensure their honest feedback! Low and behold I got 4 out of 4 really nice reviews! I was so happy!

I have been emailing R properties in WI that are 5 or more acres. We want land, and lots of it. I am dreaming of having a dog training/boarding/day care facility on the same grounds as where we live. Not too close due to barking, but I want it on the same land. Dare to dream! I can’t even imagine being able to make my own schedule and also having people come to me for training. How sweet is that???

I was talking to a cousin who lives in WI today and she reminded me of the cold. I was like that is the ONE thing I am certainly not looking forward to, at all. But I will be closer to family so that should make up for it. That and maybe I won’t be forced to drive in the snow!!! Maybe I‘ll be able to make my own snow days! hehe

So, all in all, things are shaping up. I am super psyched to discuss my Mondays off with the big bosses (ironically, we’re set to discuss that this coming Monday). I am looking forward to 2 day weekends again. I am looking forward to being much closer to a normal 40 hour work week. I am looking forward to having more time to read and more time to focus on things I need to get done. I am looking forward to my future!!!
