A Day Nice Have Cosmic Brother

I just read a rather amusing comment, one in a laundry list of outcries from members of any kind of a social affiliation that disagrees with anything that I’ve ever said and the attack that inevitably comes is one that identifies me as a member of the opposing social sect. The reason that I find this so amusing is a simple concept and one that I suppose needs some clarification before I continue.

One of the major problems with needing to belong to a group is the need that a lot of people feel to subscribe to the group’s ideas, even the ones that are not only counter intuitive, but also fly blindly in the face of logic. Let’s assume for a moment that you belong to one of these insane groups and that you want to begin an argument with me.

Recently, a blogger took a retaliatory stance against me in an attempt to defend him from me chewing on him a little bit. While this is perfectly understandable in the short term sense of the word, the concept of such a thing is almost utterly hilarious and here’s why.

You cannot go more then two paragraphs into a diatribe against anyone without calling them a Bush supporter. This Us-Them mentality that you ever so lovingly subscribe to is a tactic used and perpetuated by the very people that you claim so vehemently are waiting around every corner to crush our liberties, which I totally agree that they’re doing. However, whether you like it or not, come November George W. is going to be removed from the White House and his army of elite hackers that are bugging little old blogster (LMAO) are no longer going to be an issue.

A person that feels the ever-present need to display their credentials as a successful member of society, of which spring boarding from your daddy’s business is not a true display of any kind of work ethic or prowess and still leaves you forever labeled in the eyes of your peers as a spoiled rich kid whether you like it or not, is a show of your own weakness and inability to justify anything that you do outside of any group that you chose to affiliate yourself with.

Leaving the country because you have the means only perpetuates the fact that you are a spoiled rich boy playing at conspiracy theorist. If you want to be technical and let’s face it Kirk, you’ve shown that you desire nothing else, out of the two of us I am the working model of the American Dream and you are still a virtually unemployed Paris Hilton living in the lap of luxury in places where most of the people can’t afford to eat.

Plus, you’re a lot of fun to pick on, you can tell because of how loudly you cry when anyone does so.

Goodness... you know how to lay it on... for a 25 year-old thats quite a rant... I was too involved with keeping my head above water at your age to care about anything else... I hope you make the world a better place than your parents and grandparents did...
