Somebody sent me a $25 gift card for Applebee's and I went on Wednesday in Findlay, OH. I was surprised at how the chain has shaped up since I last went to one in California in 2003 or 4. They have an expanded menu and everything looked good.I was very happy with the quality of the food and the service. The portions were large. Decent coffee, too, and that is important to me in a restaurant.
When I first heard a mention of the Maya Calendar as a teenager, I thought they were talking about mayonnaise.
It's what they cut that dumbs down our children: they cut art, music and libraries but they never touch the sports, do they? The thinking is upside-down.
Our pets are not 'like' our children, they are our children.
I still get the Swanson pot pies when I can and make them.I have experimented with using them in casseroles!
Hobbie: Isn't your daddy's birthday on the calendar?
"Family Values" is a code phrase for religious bigotry.
And I felt some of those experiences with you. Your photos and descriptions have always been succinct and clear to us. Thank you!
To wit: "Mob Wives." ; "The Fabulous Housewives of (write a town here _______)" ; "Aliens Built the Pyramids," etc. and etc. ; "The Bachelor," et la "Bachelorette" (not a real word, my guess.) Let's see what's on Home Shopping Network. LOL... OH. Don't forget the Mayan Calendar programs!
Bella!
Been thinking about regripping my irons. Which brand?
This Republican winter is mostly stirring the minority Tea Party "Patriot" fringe. All but two of those candidates are catering to that minority. The Republican masses are not radicals like them. When all of this is over, I think they will draft Tim Tebow. LOL. (At least he is accustomed to losing the big ones.)
