Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones have split! That is going too push Syria to the back page!
In a political science study group at my college we were discussing Karl Marx. One of the group members said, "Too bad he wasn't just some funny guy like his brother Groucho."
My way of getting a crashing bore or long-talker off the phone is to keep saying that my cell's battery is almost dead and finally cut them off in mid-sentence. LOL. It works!
This attack on Syria is not justified by any law or notion. It is punishment, pure and simple, and an act of war. Sure, use of gas and chemicals is awful, but both sides in this civil war have committed many atrocities. I have no 'favorites here because Assad needs to go and the rebels are totally infiltrated by Al-Qaeda and Hezbollah is standing with Assad. A pox on all of them! We should stay out of it.
By far the majority of US citizens are NOT behind any kind of attack on Syria or anybody else in the region. Two polls are already out. I think that politically, this is going to be really really bad for the President. Serves him right.
My flag will be upside down if they attack Syria. I don't care who did what to whom. It is not in our national interest to intervene in anyone's civil war except to offer humanitarian aid. We are NOT the cops of the world!
And always walk if you can. Using a cart is easy and less strenuous, but it is not part of the game.
I will not vote for any politician who votes YES on a resolution to strike Syria.
I feel you in my heart. Thanks for the stories about them. You made me go to old Satchel and rub his head and ears.
Be careful slicing off the kernels from the cobbs. It is easy to take off a finger tip. Slippery boogers, those corn cobbs.
Nice weather, too!
I think half of the flight of money from Detroit was due to outsourcing. Every now and then when I have some cash I buy a couple tubs of litter and some bags of food, cans and toys and take them over to our Humane Society. Everything helps. They are overwhelmed.
Make a little shrine. A photo or two, the urn when you get it. A candle now and then. It helps. It brings him "home."
