Civil Aviation is in trouble.

First, they charge you for everything now. Carry-on bags, luggage, coffee, and even one airline charges a buck for one of those little sponge bags they call 'pillows.'

Then, the rates keep going up. Awful. Ridiculous.

Now, they will even fly you over combat zones where you may become a target.

One pundit was heard to say, "That's no biggie. Those aircraft are insured."

It's ugly out there.

Did you see that item about the Dutch bike racer who was scheduled to fly on the Malaysian Airlines flight that disappeared, and also the flight that was shot out of the sky in the Ukraine, but plans changed and he's still alive?

Yes. Lucky guy. Now Malaysia Airlines is going to change its name! As if that will make it better?

Still waiting for the first collision of an airliner with a drone. The Congress will wait until that fatal disaster before they legislate controls over drones. They only react to emergencies and disasters.

i'll drive thank you , not in any hurry these days and with 2 crashed planes with the one blown down in 2 weeks is not a good record
