Nothing can be funny today. Only the sadness and the anger exist.

After this there will be another fruitless cry for gun control.

It won't ever happen. The NRA controls Congress with its cash, and cash rules.

If anything, I would support a law to require psychiatric evaluation before anyone could buy a firearm.

But that won't happen, either.

All I can do is think about the families, the children.

absolutely bloody shocking ---will america consider limiting gun owner ship as they have here. all fire arms here were handed voluntry to police and destroyed.

I heard one report that said he stole the weapons from his Mother....why in the world would his Mother have an assault weapon which seems to be one type of weapon he had. It is completely beyond my comprehension how someone can kill innocent children. He appears to have been a very angry person filled with hate.

The carnage was appalling -- and one cannot even suggest that the shooter was "dissed" by the victims, as is sometimes the case in high school shootings, since they were barely into childhood. I cannot imagine what these parents must be going through. Their lives will be haunted forever.
