Garden Update

The garden was progressing in such a weird way that I didn't do a video until now. It was unusually warm last winter even tho we had a cold spell of -20F and then after everything started to grow ahead of schedule in March, it got cool.

We're in the early stages of a drought even tho West VA is flooded only a few hundred miles to the west. Warm tho, so the garden might turn out Ok afterall.

The first two rows next to the beans are supposed to be spaghetti squash--according to the envelope the seeds came out of. But that doesn't always matter. Last year the tomato plants labeled "Early Girl" turned out to be plum. So one never knows until the fruit appears!

The slight drought here grows. Five minutes of hard thunderstorm rain once a week won't suffice.

We had 2 inches in the first week of June and that's been about it until today. Yup, a whopping .15 inch. T-storms tomorrow, but as you say, that's not enough. The only good that came out of it so far is that I haven't had to mow.

I have some mint, too, I hope it does spread and spread. Did I see some yellow squash plants -- you called it spaghetti squash?
