Wow, talk about a real downer. I think I need to go to Guadalajara and eat at Outback, just to get my spirits up.
My fiancee left for the States on Tuesday, the 4th. My candidate did not win on Tuesday, the 4th. I started moving things into my fiancee's apartment on Tuesday, the 4th (When she returns, we'll be married, so it's all OK). I started moving her roommate's stuff over to her new rent on Tuesday, the 4th. AND, I'm hounded by the knowledge that I DO NOT like this apartment at all and will probably be moving all of this stuff again, just a few days after we return in January. Why don't we just stay in my little place, you ask? Because it's a one-room, sparsely furnished loaner in which I promised my fiancee I would never make her live one single day. So there you have it. Every time I look around and see her roommate's stuff and my stuff and my fiancee's stuff, I just get all blue and don't want to do anything at all. Frankly, I have a lot I need to be doing. Perhaps I should leave MyBloggers alone for a few hours and get some of it done.
On a lighter note, I'm going to San Luis Potosi, about four hours away on Saturday to speak in the anniversary services of a church there. Some really good friends have been faithfully working in that area for several years now. I might just take the bus, so I don't have to drive. It's certainly cheap enough.
Well, my oatmeal is cold and I'm getting stir crazy. Need to go work on my discourses for this weekend.
Hasta pronto!
PS: I can't believe I just selected Life & Events: Boring for this one. I guess it fits.
