We have been well and truly bitten by the Geocaching bug. We asked our kids what they wanted to do this past weekend and they all shouted "treasure hunting". So online I went and loaded the co-ords of three more local caches. One we didn't get as we were tackling it from the wrong side and didn't fancy walking back up a steep hill with the three kids, so we have put that one on hold for another day.

The weekends tally of caches brings our overall finds to six now. It is mad to think that I can put in a 10 mile radius search of where I live and no fewer than 200 active caches are out there to be found. That will certainly keep us busy for a while.

The kids have even asked if we could hide our own cache. I told them that once we have found 20 then we should know enough to have a shot at that. The hunt is on for a cool cache location and a cool bit of blurb to put up on geocaching.com site to go along with it.
