How did it get to be December already? I was only just getting used to January! LOL 
Things just seem to keep running away from me As soon as I seem to be getting out of the bit something else just seems to take the place of the things I have gotten to the bottom of. Maybe taking on the role of Secretary of our Parent Council wasn't my sharpest move. But I joined the board to try and break up the clique that was going on with the previous board. I always thought they were doing it more to massage their egos than help raise funds for the children to use. I find it fairly rewarding though, if a little stressful at times. The Christmas concert is coming up and I am one of the major cogs trying to push things forward. I hope I am not the cog to put the spanner in the works!
In family matters, my kids are growing up so fast. J is now 6 and becoming a confident little boy. L is desperate to go to school but had to wait until August before he gets the chance to don his uniform. My baby is sadly no longer a baby. Snow White mad and 3 in January. I used to laugh when my mum told me that time flies once you have family. It is about the one thing that she has actually spoken sense on!! We have also had the news that DH's application to increase his daily working hours in order to allow him to have Fridays off has been successful. I am so excited about this as it will mean that when F starts nursery we will actually have a couple of hours a week of "Us Time"!
As a family we are really looking forward to Christmas this year. All the kids are growing more hyper by the day and have actually managed not to trash the tree (even though I was made to put it up 3 weeks ago!). Their letters are written and I think they are all well aware that Santa has so many boys and girls to visit that he might not manage to fulfill their whole lists.
J has asked for a DSi - but added that he didn't want anything else as it was alot of money for Santa!
L wants a blue ipod, a dropping camera (I think he means the fisher price one that the ad shows it accidently dropping down stairs) and an ice cream shop. It is a kids ice cream maker and looks crap. I always wanted Mr Frosty when I was young - now I know why I never got one!!
F has simply asked for Snow White stuff! Santa is lucky this year that the DVD has been rereleased and there are so many things which have Snow White on them (from mugs to pants to necklaces etc)
I want for nothing although season 5 of House would be nice as we seem to have hammered through the rest so quickly. Although we only have 2 more episodes to watch of season 4 so I figure 2 weeks without House is pushing it a bit. Especially as we did watch 5 in one night!!
DH would like a.......well they stop when you get married right?! That is why all brides smile on their wedding day as they know they never have to again.
Better go and make it look like I haven't been sitting on the computer all day. I haven't but my kids seem to get muddled up between 5 minutes and 5 hours!!
