My New Old Kitty

Just thought I would share a picture of my new cat who is called Guinness she is 8 years old and the lady who owned her had to go into a nursing home and sadly if they couldnt find a home for her she would have been distroyed, I am actually allergic to cats but as long as I take my tablets every day I should be fine. I have only managed to take one picture of her so far she is still getting settled and keeps hiding but she certainly doesnt look impressed with me when I took the picture.

she is so pretty! I have an outside kitty i have been feeding for a few weeks, trying to convince him to make his home here. but i think he is a feral cat and is not warming up to me.

Very cool thing to do, especially considering your allergy...

I am also allergic to cats, but I find that I do Ok in a house with one as long as I don't touch it.

she is settled already comes and sits on my knee while im watching tv and last night i woke up with her curled up in bed with me lol although i didnt appreciate the claw in my belly at 03:45am lol

What a wonderful cat! It's hard to get a good photo of a dark face like that and get the features to show up, so you did a good job. I've heard of people allergic to cats bathing them in special shampoo periodically and that worked. Maybe since she has short hair you'll be okay taking the pills.
