Last Friday the installer finished the kitchen. Because we need new electricity groups he wasnt able to get all things work, but all is installed. We can use the fridge and the microwave. We are able to cook (cause we cook on gas) . Pity we still cant use the dishwasher and oven.
Saturday we cleaned the kitchen and put all things back. So there was a lot of washing cause in a new kitchen you want all things put up clean again. It kept us busy the whole day. In the afternoon we bought some stuff to cover the kitchen tonight, for tomorrow and Thursday the plasterer will come to do walls and ceiling.
Now all is quite a mess in the house I painted the wall frames on the backside. I didn't need to tape the glass, cause new glass will be delivered soon.
Later on Sunday we visited Haarlem. Cause of Christmas is coming soon in the centre of town they created a kind of Dickens area, based on a Dutch painter "Anton Pieck". It was quite amusing to watch.

Yesterday was quite busy in the house. Thk God I was at work. The electrician came to install new electricity ( as far as possible) in the new part of the house. The phone line had to be changes as well as the cable for TV. These things all need to be removed from the front side to the backside of the house. Also the man who will install the heating arrived and made preparations for a new heating system. So far we still had 2 radiators hanging in the living room. When I came home all that remained was 1 radiator. Not much to fill a room of about 140 cubic meters with warmth. The electrician wanted to leave but I, just in time, noticed the phone was not working so I asked to fix that. I am glad he did cause he will be here again next Friday. Imagine all those days without phone (and without internet, cause I use DSL).
I must admit later last night I started feeling a bit chilly.
Today they are supposed to build in the new ceiling so tomorrow the plasterer can do his job.
