Happy Hump Day, MyBloggerstown:
Well, I had my appointment with the hematologist. It was an experience, although not a totally unpleasent one. The nurses and the receptionists were real nice and helpful. I was scheduled to see Dr. Dracula but she wasn't in the office that day so I saw her collegue. Imagine my surprise when the collegue turned out to be...yes you guessed it...Pakistani. Akmed L. Amaduchebag. The resemblence between him and my beloved Dr. Whalebutt was uncanny("Whalebutt-The Sequel"). Same accent, same overwhelming cologne and everything. After filling out the standard new patient questionaire, I was escorted into the exam room and was shortly seem by Dr. Amaduchebag. He asked many questions, which was good and informed me that nine times out of ten, these things turned out to be nothing. He had me hop up on the exam table where he poked and prodded and listened. I wore a pair of the new drawers I bought the other day so I hope he was impressed. He then directed his staff to take some blood for testing. They must've took 4 or 5 vials. Anyhoo, they said it would take a week to ten days for the results of all the tests they were gonna run to come back and I am to return a week from Thursday for the outcomes. I keep telling myself "9 out of 10 times it's nothing, he said" and try not to dwell on anthing worse. I fully intend to see my 60th birthday and beyond so don't count yer own Bugg out just yet.
On a lighter note, my niece Lulu Bell(Jethrene's older sister) is having a birthday party for Wednesday, her little daughter. Wednesday is 5 today and has been telling everyone this, with the appropriate holding up of fingers, for the past two weeks. I got her a little shorts and top outfit with matching flip flops for summer wear. I've been invited for cake etc but I warned them I had to be back in time for "Lost". It's the season finale. Some things just have to take precedence.
Have a good rest of the week, everyone
