Happy Labor Day Weekend, MyBloggerstown:
    Well, I guess summer is officially over. All the little children in our fam damily have headed back to school. All report they are having fun and their new teachers are nice (yeah, just wait a coupla months). The eagle crapped this week for me and I have been busier than a one armed paper hanger, as my old dad used to say.  Crazy Sis had her car in the shop so, since I had borrowed Suffering's vehicle, I had to take Mama shopping in addition to running my own errands. I know I shouldn't complain because, after all, she is my mother but damn. That woman makes my butt ache seriously.
Mama: "Look out, there's a car coming(the car in question is six blocks distant)
Me: 'I know, Ma. I see it."
Mama: "Well, you didn't act like you were gonna stop"
Me: "Do YOU want to drive?"
Mama: "No, smartypants."
And it continues with Mama going on and on. I swear the woman reads every friggin' sign she sees.
Mama: " 'McDonalds'. I hear they use kangaroo meat" or " 'Try -n - Save Motors'. Yer brother Bubba sez they're rip off artists." and " 'Petland'. Did you know Lulubelle once worked there?"(the woman can remember Bubba's middle child's one time 10th grade summer job but she can't remember my birthday)
Me(gripping wheel and clenching teeth): I know.
Mama: "Oh, and while we're out would you take me to the cable place so I can pay the bill, then to Tarzhay to get some new bath towels, then to the laundrymay so I can wash my comforters, then....".
Safe to say that when all that was done I was worn out and didn't have the energy to do my own stuff. So today, I am taking care of my own stuff. If any body in my family calls, I am not at home.
Well, I'm off (All: "yeah, we know")Â
