Good Humpday, Blog Pals:
Well, Mama is home now from her travails at the hospital with a new set of medications and diet plans. She now, in addition to taking heart preparations(much like the ones I take) has to have an insulin shot at least once a day. More if her thrice daily glucose tests are out of range. She is liking this not at all. Crazy Sis now is forced to monitor Mama's diet and medications and she is likewise not too thrilled with her new role as food and medication nazi. Mama, who was never too swift in the first place, is depressed and Crazy Sis is not being supportive. I do not know who is being the bigger infant. Me, Suffering and Bubba are at our wits end with Crazy Sis and all her doom and gloom, naysaying and fretting. It only bums Mama out all the more. I greatly fear I am going to have to kick Crazy Sis's ass before all is said and done. She has the tact of a shovel to the face.
This Friday is the first of the Shady Pines bingo nights. Since it was my bright idear, the Resident Council has charged me with its operation. It should be fun and a delightful diversion for all. The grand prize is a $10 gift card from Wally World so as you can see we've spared no expense.
The weather here has been delightful for the past few days. Clear and in the 50's and 60's for daytime highs. I have heard rumors of cold and snow in the ofting for the weekend so it'll be back to the bulky parkas and long johns and everyone being sick. Ah, well...'tis the season.
Had an appointment with Dr. Tightass, my primary care physician yesterday. No changes...apparently I remain a wreck.
Got to spend some face time with Jethro and Daisy May yesterday. Jethrene was working some much needed overtime and as no one else was available, I got the job. They ate supper with me and were generally well behaved and disruption of my apartment was kept to a minimum. Daisy is an invernerate chatterbox and Jethro figits but they are just so cute and sweet. And was I glad when their mother showed up to cart them home. I love them dearly but they are tiring...even when they are behaving.
Well, that's about it....all goes on pretty much the same in the life of yer own bugg.
