Peter Rabbit - Yet Another Update

Since the email on the Hickman, Nebraska is still disabled, there are other places that you can go to voice your disapproval of the Hickman City Council's eviction of the thrity-two year old Morgan horse, Peter Rabbit, from the city limits.
Thanks to Marta here at mybloggers, you can read the story as it appeared in Hickman's local newspaper, The Journal Star.  You can also leave an email comment on the story. Just go to this address:

https://www.journalstar.com/articles/2008/08/13/news/local/doc48a31cd22c7c9262588457.txt
If you would like to write a letter to the editor of the Journal Star about it, go to this address:

Thanks, Martha!

This has got a lot of people extremely upset. I have read your other posts about this. I went to the newspaper and read most of the comments. There seem to be hundreds. One comment said to google about Peter Rabbit. So I did. There are hundreds of articles about this magnificent horse. A LOT of people are thinking and talking about it. I wonder if all of our emails and comments have made any difference? The deadline was yesterday, but I didn't read any update on it. Hope everything turns out all right...

I just went to the original article in the Nebraska paper, and there were no comments to the article. I posted one. It said the comment will be viewable after it is approved. I wonder what the odds are of that?? Just FYI, this is what I wrote, very polite in the Jeffersonian style.
Apparently the flood of negative comments about this situation are being removed or not being posted to the public at all. This is an unfortunate situation to begin with, and censorship (or presumed censorship) is not aiding Hickman's image. A free press shouldn't take sides, and if it must, it certainly shouldn't side with the government!!

I wrote a comment to the article yesterday, I saw it there at one time, I looked later only to find that they had REMOVED IT!
Ridiculous.
