Sounds like a hectic schedule! I hope you're feeling better. I hope the bag gets to go away too.

Remember Snoopy's wonderful philosophy for leading a happy life, "Reduce your worries to a minimum." Oh, if only it was that easy, eh, Jeremy? My stress comes out in nervousness and irritability. And, it is only AFTER the stressful situation passes that I even REALIZE I was upset about it.

Good for you, Terri! Go for it, kid! Looking in the mirror is going to feel so much better than eating that cake! AND you'll be doing yourself a lot of good!
I have been exercising by running for thirty minutes (Getting my heart rate to between 120 and 140 for 30 minutes), lifting weights for ten minutes, and doing 100 stomach crunches and 50 push-ups, five days a week. I've been doing this since January, and I've lost over thirty pounds. Now, according to my wife, God is definitely a man because men seem to able to lose weight easier than women, but you can do it if set your mind to it and stay consistent with it! I rooting for you!!!!!

Hmmmm... Seems to me that I've heard the words, "Read my lips; no new taxes!" in a presidential election campaign before. Now, who was it that said that? OH! It was George Bush, Sr! And guess what Mr. Bush's FIRST ACT was after that election? You guessed it! He raised taxes! Probably because, when confronted with the facts, he couldn't help but do that!
Now, when George W. came into power eight years ago, the nation was on the verge of a balanced budget. No more. Thanks to The Iraqi War, this country is in debt for TRILLIONS of dollars, mostly to CHINA! How does Mr. McCain propose to pay that off if he's not going to raise taxes (AND, if, as he says, the war could go on for another 100 years)? I would like to hear him explain that. Or...are our children going to have to learn to speak Mandarin?

Sounds like my kind of cooking! (This is coming from a guy who has a hard time boiling water!) I got a kick out of "Don't let it burn."

Do you know that women in the U.S. only make 79% of what their male counterparts do? For every dollar that a male makes, a woman, doing the identical job, only makes 79 cents! Boy! I didn't realize having a penis was so vaulable (for work, that is!)
I admire you for standing up for yourself an demanding to be treated fairly! Just remember not to lose your temper. When that happens, they win. (Also remember not to cry when you get frustrated. That gives them ammunition to say, "See? This is how a woman handles situations.)
The world is unfair, and it will stay unfair unless you speak up. "All that is needed for evil to triumph is to have good people do nothing."

Keep fighting the good fight, James!
Unfortunately for the Far Right, their arguments don't hold water and cannot hold up in the light of intense scrutiny. (I almost spelled that as "SCREWtiny." Freudian slip!) So, rather than debate you and lose, they would just simply pretend that you don't exist.

Wow. This is pretty heavy stuff. I sometimes forget that even Republicans can have feelings.
Seriously now, I understand anything that you write about here. I was in the same situation when my kids were growing up. It is hard. It isn't fair either. And, even though you know that you are doing right by your kids by making them do homework and chores and such, it doesn't make these feelings any easier to take.
You're a good friend friend, Chris. You've got my cell number. Call me if you ever want to talk. The Main Street Pub is only five minutes away, and I'll listen to ANYBODY while drinking beer.

Surround yourself with positive people. I've discovered that when I hang out with negative and angry folks, I too become negative and angry.
By the way, I'm so "out of it" that it took me about twenty minutes to figure out that "iming" wasn't a typographical error! (I've never text-messaged or instant messaged anything in my life! These middle-aged thumbs don't work that fast!)
