Ya Right

YA ever get a big time case of the “ya rights”? That’s where someone tells you what you need to do or say and about all you can say is “ya right”. Now what you are really thinking is that the person telling you this gem of wisdom needs to get back on their meds.
Senator Obama is really good at this, as we say in the south the man is all hat and no cattle. Is there no one trying to keep track of what falls out of his mouth? But I do give credit to him, he has proven that middle age white guys aren’t the only ones who open their mouths and have stupid shit fall out.
Please don’t think I am picking on just him-both Democratic candidates seem to have a big case of head up ass while foot is inserted in mouth. It’s amazing that they can even talk at all.
In my job I work with a lot Black Ministers who you would think are traditional Democrat supporters and they are except that the choices these two candidates are giving them are not choices they can accept.
I had one tell me “I want a Black man to be President, but not this one. I want a woman to be President, but not this one.” Now this man (who I call friend) is usually more than a bit left leaning than I am and I was surprised at the depth of his arguments. He told me that he had always voted for the democratic ticket but this time He literally didn’t know what to do.
I reminded him of the ancient Chinese curse “May you live in interesting times,” He just looked me and said “ya right.”

I get really sick of the fighting between candidates. It seems like they are all gung ho to destroy each others reputations. It's sad to see. I'm still not sure who I will vote for. I definitely vote, but I'm just not sure who yet.

Good post. "All hat and no cattle" is one I hadn't heard before; I like it.

with all of the fighting going on in the democratic party, it is turning off alot of voters. mccain just might sweep the election.
