Most people don't understand true animal lovers. They think we are idiots but animals know who care about them. Just ask Jondue who has had two cats in the last year show up at his house looking for love and comfort. Their instinct tells them who will care and who will not.

What beautiful pictures, Martin. I remember having to memorize that poem in elementary school; it is one of my favorites. I love the old trees around the coast with the moss hanging from their branches.

Randy, I know it seems like you would be encouraging them but what if you put out some dry dog food away from your corn perhaps they would eat that and leave the corn alone. I could not do it but shooting them would be more merciful and quick than poisoning them. That is a really slow agonizing death where they bleed internally.

Amazing how the price has come down while technology has gone up.

I know what you mean about the slow motion thing. I did the exact same thing when I fell off my kitchen counter....it felt like slow motion and I was falling backwards. I did not want to hit my head so I twisted my body, threw my right hand out and landed on top of it and broke my wrist. Mine was just one break, not as bad as yours. Physical therapy was a lot of fun, too, but worth it. I got all range of motion back. Hang in there Deb; we are all supporting you in these difficult times.

Don't talk about religion or politics, both volatile subjects. Just be your charming, natural self. Wouldn't it be great if she loves golf?!

I clean EVERY Saturday and on Sunday I have to let my body recover before work on Monday. Cat and dog hair are a problem 365 days of the year since I have four cats and three dogs that allow two humans to live with them. In our house, animals rule!

I am so glad Kraymer is getting better. He is such a sweetheart; don't tell him but he looks like a petunia with his collar.

There is nothing better than furbabies going bonkers when you return after being away whether you've been gone 30 minutes or 30 days. Their love is so unconditional. Swimming??? Do you still have a cast? Have fun while you are out in Phoenix.

When they were growing up, I constantly hugged and kissed my boys and told them I loved them. Their father did not grow up in a loving, demonstrative family so it took a few years for him to get used to verbally and physically expressing his emotions but he does so now with ease. Since my sons grew up receiving hugs and kisses, they feel comfortable expressing their feelings with others. How sad for your father that he missed out on having a loving relationship with you; that was definitely his loss. Happy Fathers Day, Fredo.

Being a Southern gal, I love it when a gentlemen holds a door open for me, allows me to precede him into a room, carries heavy packages for me and, honey, you can call me "honey" anytime. I love being made to feel cherished. I brought both my "boys" up to respect women and I still get compliments about their Southern manners even though they are 47 and 42.
