He has already gone on record as encouraging the full participation of women in the Catholic clergy. That is interesting because not too long ago the Catholic hierarchy in the U.S. came down hard on an order of nuns because they didn't think the order was vigorous enough in stamping out birth control. Indeed these particular nuns were working with the poor in ghettos and helping them avoid unwanted births. OMG, humnanitarian work. Got to stop that.
When he advocates birth control, I will admire him. That will lift a lot of people out of the poverty it imposes to have scads of children.
What right does he have to judge anyone?
