Miguel stopped by to visit and while here he took a picture of our orchid plant.Just took a pic of the flower.
Mike and I have been buying these plants.
The one that we do get last just one time.
But for some strange reason my daughter Cheryl gave us two plants.Not together at different times.
Mike has given up on the plants that we got in earlier days.
So the plants that my daughter gave have been blooming every year and sometimes twice.
We have flowers all year long.
I find this interesting and why her plant bloom and our over the years one time.
Miguel did a great job in photograpy.
Wanted to share this with my friends on mybloggers.

No secret.Most people over watered their orchids.Mike take care of them.He watered them Sunday and Wed.do not mist.This is the worst things to do.
Yes,many them do.Sorry,no misting.Just not over water.Good luck.

Even living in Florida all of my orchids died. They need daily misting and care. Those are beautiful!

No misting or daily care.Mike just water them once a week.
Sometime people over do it on the watering.

Yes and no.Like I mentioned that we buy them and just have one setting of flowers and as the years goes by all we got was the foliage.
Ever since my daughter gave us a couple and they have been blooming all year long.Not sure what the trick is as Mike takes care of them.
I know that you do not over watered them and good drainage.
The right light for us is in the North side of the house.
You can buy them at Wal Mart or home depot not too expensive and give it a shot.Give it a try.

Wow! That is really an amazing photo!
