Things are always quiet in the Summer months.
Been doing a lot of baking lately.
With the garden ready for harvesting.
Been making variety using Zucchini.
This one is very interesting.
It is called "Low fat zucchini brownie.
I saw this recipe on line and saying what?are they serious?
Yes,they are.
Want to share this with you and hope that someone out there will trying it and give me your take on this.
So here goes and good luck.
Low fat zucchini brownie.
Ingredients
1/2 cup apple sauce
2 small or medium bananas mashed
1 1/2 cup of sugar
2 tsp.vanilla extract
1/2 cup of coco powder
1 1/2 tsp.baking soda
1/2 tsp.salt
2 cups finely shredded zucchini
2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup walnut pieces.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Grease and flour a 9*13 in.baking pans.
In a large bowl,mix together the applesauce,mashed bananas and sugar.
Add vanilla and cocoa and mix together.
Then add baking soda,salt,zucchini and mix together
Add the flour and walnuts and mix together.
Spread evenly into prepared pan.
Bake for 25 minutes until brownies spring back when gently touch.
This will make about 24 .

My thoughts on this.
I find this very moist and tasty.
Keep in mind taste buds varies on ages.
Those who love brownies,should take a stab at this.
Great with your choice of ice cream and you will not have to feel guilty in eating this.
