Yesterday had a two hours or more Evaluation on getting ready for Cataract Surgery.
This was quite an ordeal .
But first.The appt.was set at 12:40
Someone drove me in as this was recommended,
Sitting around talking to some of the people there and noticed that time was going by fast and no on called me in yet.So after an half hour went up to the desk and ready to walked out.If I am there on time,expect them to be there on time.LOL
The woman was very polite.Mr.Rossi I will checked this out for you and she did
What happened that the forgot the printout out in back to let them know that I was here.The printer was now working probably as they say.
Right away they too me in and this is almost one thirty.

Before I get into this.
Never in my life have I seen so many elders.
Walking with cane,scooters,walkers etc.
Thought that I was in the wrong place.
Like a nursing home.
I am very sorry being like this and cannot helped.
Why do I get annoyed with these people?
Many of the men as their posture was failing and stooping.
Why,why are they this way.
Bad posture is one of the reason.
I swear to myself that will not get this way if I can helped it.
All they talk about is this illness and the next.
I know this all very well about elders has many crises.
So helped me.
This is one thing that I will not discuss my health issues with anyone.Why?who wants to hear it.They have their own problems.

Getting away from my evaluation of cataract.
First they test your eyes.
Show you a video of whats happening.
Told them that this did not helped me too much.
Not closed captioned.LOL.
Well,you can see the image.
Then the doctors comes in and check the eyes.
Right eye is worse than the left.
But not bad.You can wait or have it done now.
Lets get this over with,she says good.
They talked about enhanced lens option.
Medicare pay for the regular,but not for this.
You have to pay out of your pocket and only 800 dollars if you want it done.For those who choose not to wear glasses.
Told them have to think about this.
After wearing glasses for numbered of years and your face is molded.
Without glassed I do not looked all that well as matter of fact ugly.LOL.
Tend for me to look much older.
So will make up my mind later.
The last two hours.
They measured your eyes,ultrasound and tons of paper worked to filled out.Along with precription for eye drop
I as exhausted by all of this.
Finally,she said:any question?yea,need to pee.LOL.
Mike was waiting for me to take me home.
When I stepped outside,ouch the light took me for a loop.
I am scheduled when back from my holiday.
Have to get a physcial etc.June first the date.
BY THE WAY GOT SCOLDED FOR NOT INCLUDING THIS.
