Keeping in Touch

This photo was shot this morning at six o'clock getting ready to sit down for breakfast.
As I looked out of the window there were four wild Turkey out there.
So I grab my camera to get a shot of it and at this time they flew off.
There is one there but very hard to see.
We here in Epsom, lucked out on the storm.
As part of NH and North got hit pretty bad.
Flooding,hail,t storm etc.
It was violent in that area.
We just got some rain and t boomers.
They had five inches of rain as it was coming down very hard and washed out some of the highway there.
No injuries that I have heard of.
Maybe tomorrow the Turkey will be around.
They camp out the back yard every now and then.
They move on later.
The garden is all planted and now the growing season begins.
I will be glad when the Farmer Market open up.
To get some fresh and organic food.
A little expensive but worth it to me.
Below is a cute picture of a boy and his dog.
Got this from Ellen Page on Facebook and had to show this off to you.
Isn't this great?
Happy Hump Day

You are lucky because they eat bugs and stuff. We had a flock of about
fifty when we lived on the farm.

did the Welcome Wagon come to greet you there?

I saw him right away! One time I glimpsed what I thought was a dog in the back yard, and it was a turkey strutting around. He looked just like a domestic bird. First and only time we've had a wild turkey here, although we know they are in the area.

Support your local farmers market, price be damned!! You might enjoy a book I'm reading by Joel Salatin: "Folks, This Just Ain't Right", regarding sustainable farming.

Both are great pictures! We get wild turkeys quite a bit in my village. We joke that one year, we are going to take one out so we can use it for Thanksgiving dinner.

Still thinking about it.Wonder that they would have the wild taste?oh,we do have plenty of turkey otherwise.

If you look at the photo on the far right you may see a figure there on the Turkeys?
