Is There Any Good News Out There?

Hey, you know what would improve my day, and my week, immeasurably? If y'all would post some comments to this my blog(I would love to hear from you.
Let me know what's going right in your lives. Anything, no matter how small or how big, is fair game. If you've already written it up elsewhere, you can just post a link. Tell me something that made you smile, or cheered you up; tell me about new kids, new pets, life milestones, seeing pretty flowers by the side of the road, a good book you just read, a promotion, a story sale, an invitation you received, anything.

I may not reply, but I'll read and appreciate all the
comments.

Hey,sorry to post a few blogs on tragedy but that is life.
So,you have some good news here, tell us about it.
We are never bored to hear from you.
This what makes this so interesting.
Yea!everyone is busy at this time of the year.
Out buying gifts for families and friend.
All I hear is bad news.
I know that there is some good news out there.
Well,okay.
Can I say this, would you please make a donation to the SPCA in your area.
There has been a lot of dogs and cats lately in the SPCA.
Reason for this, people just cannot afford them any more.
With the cost of vet care up high and people losing their jobs etc.You know what I mean on this.
Do not and repeat do not let them run away, tied them to a tree etc.
If you need to give them up,please go to the SPCA.
Thank you,Merry Christmas.

You know what makes me happy, Fredo! Seeing your clever comments on my blog. My life would not be as complete if you were not there every day to make some clever, witty remark. I always enjoy reading what you have to say as well. Hey! We got Obama elected! Things are going to get better for everyone. It may take some time; but I am definitely looking forward to 2009 being a much better year.We don't hear of nearly so many suicide bombers in Iraq--now they just throw shoes! Lots of us love you, Fredo. Just wanted you to know that!

My daughter and I are able to stay here through the rest of the month and we will have money to move and live on when the time comes. I was able to grocery shop today and get some great deals on meat and food. I was also able to buy some nice candy and beautiful tangerines at a good price for stocking stuffers for my kids. My daughter and I have our health, and she is a happy child I am lucky to have in my life. We have more than most on this earth and we are truly blessed.

Good news, Fredo? Let's see...
Ah, the football season is about over. The war is about over. The Bush guys are about out of Washington. I have a nearly full bottle of Tequila. The neighbors left for two weeks in Florida and took their children, especially the one with the BB Gun. My gall bladder doesn't hurt. The snow is pretty. My pets are excited about Christmas. Tomorrow is Friday.

I'll keep checking to see if there are more!

Merry Christmas, Froelich Weinachten. Felice Navidad!

Fredo, I feel really lucky and blessed to have my husband. He is my best friend, my soul mate. I can count on one hand the big fights we have had and we have been together for 15 years. He is the one person I can always count on. He makes me laugh, he comforts me when I am sad and he tells me when I am being an idiot.

Things are going OK here. I am really busy, but as other people have mentioned here, things could really be a lot worse. I have my home, my health, and my love (and my furrykids).

I almost feel as if I shouldn't share my good news or mood because so many people are struggling and sad. There are lots of folks going through difficult times. But since you asked, I will share with you that I am happily relaxing in my cozy home today. I am grateful for my wonderful husband who's so kind and generous with me. I am happy to be spending time with good friends this next week and totally excited about visiting my parents over the holidays. I can't wait to have my Mother's arms around me again. Other than the occasional nonsense from my childrens stepmom, I absolutely have no complaints. I know how fortunate I am.
