My Daily Notes from the School House.

LOOK .....I WAS THIRSTY MAN,DEAL WITH IT.

As most of you know that this is Hump Day.
Been reading some of the jokes here and there.
I bought myself a new tennis racquet and very happy with it.
Used it several times and noticed that my game improved.
Think that we got the roof under control for me.
Supposed to be a quiet week.
Had blood work done at the VA and my annual visit to the doctor. All is well with one small problem and not sure how small that it is.
Think that I had this for some time and there was not mentioned of if.
The VA doctor picked up on this and wanted to notify my primary doctor if I should get off the Zocar.
The office said that this is such a slight on and no need to worry.
Well I am not worry, just wondering how do we control this?
Last year my Bilirubin was 1.5 mg/dl
This is slight high, but no mentioned of it.
Fine.
Then VA was 1.4.Though it went down some.
She wanted to know if I should continued with the Zocar.
Yep,have not heard from the office yet.
Call was put in today.
The rest of the blood work was fine.
So,I am pleased for a man of my age that things are looking good.
I have hear about cholestrol drugs can infect the liver if you are on it for a long time.
One of the reason you go every six months to get this checked.
I may have to look for a new doctor soon.
Had a feeling that something is going on at the clinic.
Been there for so long and just hated to make a change.
Not sure what the dl stands for?
Always asked for a copy of my blood work to keep on file for my personal copy.
One complain,wait maybe more.
How many people take it for granted that their blood work is fine?
Yes,they will tell you that if anything serious.
I was looking at mine and just to give you a few.
Sodium, low.Pottasium Low.Chloride is low not sure what the hell this is.
Co2 is low this I do not know.
So you see there are some high and low.
Does anyone question this.
Of course you do not have a copy with you when your in the office. He just tell you what you want to hear.
Cholestrol,Glucose, and your CBC etc.
I will see him in April and again more blood work.
We will wait for the call.
I know that he is right, that it is only a scooge.
But the VA doctor do not buy it
Okay,enough of this and that.
Be Safe,Keep Warm,Later

what started this my VA doctor was surprised on this.
Got a call from the Dr.office here and they told me that it was going on for ten years.Go figure.
I was not too concerned about this, but did want them to know that the VA is watching.I noticed a lot of the blood work on the H level.Guess this goes on.I feel fine and do not have to stopped anything at this time. Will be seeing the good doctor this April.
Have a good weekend there. Are you dry?

I always test too low on one of my kidney functions; but I have had follow-ups done and they never really show the problem to be that serious. I guess we can't have it perfect, can we?

I have complete blood work done 3 times a year--have all my copies since 1999-- still haven't figured what RDW is and it has been too high since 1999--no one seems to know what it stand for

One of the tablets I am on is Warfarin. It is incredible, how much the I.N.R. levels can alter from week to week and mine are sooo erratic. I stopped worry about them a long time ago - but that is not to say that 'you' can! You have to keep control Fredo.

I have been on warfarin for 10 years--I have 'blood' marks all over my body--I did post pictures of my arms at one time--by the way there is an excellent PT test that you can take at home every week--costs you nothing and they send report to Doc every week--easy test--you can call 1-877-436-6444

Don't worry about the caps. Ray will really appreciate the support when I tell him about it. He still has the same job.

Bloodwork can be confusing, I agree. Doctors make those big bucks to explain it to us so ask! I am glad that you are in good health and are able to enjoy your new racquet!
