I have a constant complaint with the cna.On Sat Sue is a let's just say this is not the job for her ass.I came in behind her leaving and mom's apt was trashed.Mom was asleep,cleaning isn't going to wake her.I told mom she needs to request another worker for Sat.I think she has a drinking problem.Showing up hung over when she gets here.Oh well we'll see.I'll vent about her.Hehe Hell she needs to pay me for doing her job for her..

Could you insist on interviewing the next woman they send? Perhaps you
could find someone with out the certification and she could come more often unless your mother needs medical attention. We had a lovely woman
with my mother in law who was not certified but who did everything.

Yes mom has to be the one to request another woman.Half of the workers are cert,half aren't.See mom has a worker for a bath,one for cleaning,and the nurse comes twice a wk.I gets crazy around here...

Does your mom have to be the one to request another worker? I think they should be told they have a boozer in their employ.

I do feel in my heart that she has a drinking problem.I don't have proof.

I have a cousin with a disability in Las Vegas who has social services people come in several times a week to help her prepare dinner, pay bills, and supervise her medications. Over the three years I've been observing it, some of them have been great, and some have helped her spend her grocery money like a drunken sailor: shrimp, filet mignon, stuff like that, all on a Hamburger Helper budget.
