I am going to get my hair cut today. I have decided to go shorter. I am thinking just brushing the tops of my shoulders. That way my curls will be springier and maybe I can do more with it. I figure what is the point in having long hair when all I do is put it up everyday! Kota will also get a haircut. We have been letting him decide what he wants and this time he wants a true mohawk. LOL His buddy at the babysitter's has a mohawk so I think that has something to do with it.
I had an email from my classmates.com account. A notification of an email I had received. It was from my cousin's wife in PA. It was great to hear from her and we exchanged emails to keep in touch. My cousin in PA is a real hoot, so funny. He was my favorite person when we lived there. I have only seen him a couple times since moving to Delaware in 1972. He did come to my wedding. I was reading the local news for my hometown and he is the mayor there. How cool is that! I would love to make a trip to see them all again.
Work is going well, I am learning more and more new things so I feel really useful now. I had some great customers yesterday. One lady was just looking at the bracelets, said she had one on layaway already. There was one she really liked so I had her try it on. She laughed and said, now you are just trying to get me to add things to my layaway! She will be back friday for the new bracelet. lol
My son's fiance is doing much better with her pregnancy. Her morning sickness seems to have passed and she is feeling alot better. I told her I never had morning sickness at all so I didn't know what she was going through. The younger generation has terms that I do not like, baby mama and baby daddy. When speaking of the mother/father of your children. I just think it sounds so dumb. But now I have started asking stormy, how's baby mama today? LOL I am a goofball.
I met another Twilight fan at work and this one really surprised me. He is a man my age, a big tough guy. I saw him carrying one of the Twilight books so I had to ask if he was a fan. We ended up having a big discussion on the books. He also filled me in on his life and I was amazed at the way he could open up to me, a total stranger. He said I was just easy to talk to. I get that alot.
My favorite cashier Josh is trying to get a teaching job. He has a college degree but has been unable to find a teaching job. During the school year he substitutes at different schools. He promised if he gets a teaching job we will go out to dinner. I am hoping and praying he gets the teaching position. He has applications in to all the local school districts. I have seen him with kids, he is really good with them. But he teaches on the high school level. I think he would be great in elementary schools!
I will try and post pics if I get my haircut and my camera will cooperate. I will also post kota and his mohawk!
