My hubby had this friend, and he was always trying to get me to know him and his wife. I knew they had money and I was afraid I would not measure up to their standards. Well I finally gave in and these 2 people have become such wonderful friends to us. they have never looked down on us and treat us as equals. I am so thankful I took the time to get past my own judgements!

I too have heard the rumblings and have been wondering when 'we' will attack. don't we have enough problems in our own country>

I'm not fat, I'm just big boned! seriously though, I do everything they tell you not to do. I usually skip breakfast and lunch, not on purpose. I just don't think about it. I like to cook and make goodies. I have quit doing my walking exercises, oh the excuses I have stockpiled, much like the extra roll of fight around my middle. But now I am at an age where these issues are manifesting in health concerns. Diabetes, back problems, fatigue.
if you can tell me what I should be eating that will work on a budget I am all for advice. I have found the things we should be eating our out of food budget.

I have heard of this one, my son's school did a fundraiser for it one year. It's really a great cause.

how I miss my live tree! it just got too expensive. For a good tree it is $65.00 and up! that money can buy me alot of groceries! I love your tree Jon!

you sent that rain my way! we are on pretty high ground so our basement has never flooded. wednesday night we had high winds with knocked over our ferris wheel on the porch!
i am so scared of the upcoming election! I hate voting because it's like you play a game of eenie meenie minee mo! Instead of voting for the best candidate, you vote for who you think will do the least amount of damage.

my hubby hoards boxes! I have no idea why! if you need new boxes just call a local store and tell them you would like to pick some up. we did that at walmart.
I was a hoarder at my old house, now I throw everything out! Unless you want to say keeping all the books I read is hoarding.

my hubby's sisters and mom did this the day after thanksgiving. we all met at one of the sisters' house and we all baked a different cookie. it was lots of fun! and no slice and bakes! that's not a christmas cookie! I will be making more cookies for my family, the peanut butter cookies with hershey kisses on top and rum balls!

I can't wait to see more pics from your new camera! photography is a fun hobby. Miguel is a very handsome man, he has a sparkle in his eyes.

I am asking for a steam cleaner for Christmas! haha anything that makes housework easier is a great present!

I normally do not watch sitcoms anymore. they all seem the same to me. But I am addicted to 2 Broke Girls. I mostly watch CSI type shows and Dexter is my fav show.
