Gool Old Fashioned Family Fun

Things have been a little tense here at home. After dinner last night me and hubby went to sit on the porch and enjoy the nice breeze. Kota came out to ride his bike. Then my stepson snuck out with a spray bottle and attacked Kota. Well it escalated from there, we were all armed with spray bottles, buckets and hubby grabbed the hose. We got soaked, laughed, screamed and ran around like lunatics. We complained that someone was not wet enough and ganged up on that person. My son's fiance and I conspired to get my husband wet even with his cheating by having the hose. It was a good time, one for the memory books. We didn't care if all the neighbors were watching. It had been a hot day, we had all been getting on each other's nerve and this was our outlet to focus on what's important. And we realized what is important is our family and how much we love each other. There will always be a bump in the road but you just have to roll with it and get to the other side. You have to let that inner child out to play or you will find yourself feeling your age.
Yesterday afternoon kota and I ventured to walmart for some corn on the cob. I had pushed my cart to the corn and then went to get some of those plastic bags to put the corn in. This young man walked up and took my cart. I looked at him and said, are you seriously taking my cart? He just looked at me and kept going. Well me and kota just laughed and made comments about how this guy had to walk by all those carts but chose to take mine. We ran into him a couple more times. Kota would say, hurry it's the cart stealer! As we were leaving the store we stopped at the cart corral to unload our bags, we only had 4 bags so we didnt' need to push the cart out to the car. Here came the cart stealer with a case of water in his cart. He pushed it outside the doors of the store, grabbed his case of water and left the cart right in front of the doors. Kota looked at him like he was crazy, then grabbed the guy's cart and pushed it inside to the corral. It was a sad statement of today's youth in my opinion. Perhaps I should carry my water spray bottle to shoot people who annoy me?
