For any who don't know me or who might need to be reminded: I have three kids. Soldier son is 21 and home on leave right now. Daughter is 20, going to college and working, no longer living with us. And kota is 6, first grader and light of my life. Also the source of aggravation. lol
Well soldier son bought a jeep as soon as he got back from Iraq. He doesn't have it here on leave, he flew home. I am dying to see it and take it for a spin! He will be getting out of the Army probably around April.
Well you know how it is when you hear someone has a new car. You start dreaming and crunching numbers. Not me, but my daughter. Today she bought an '04 Chrysler Sebring convertible. 6 cylinder, nice rims on it, beautiful interior. I can totally see her tooling along this summer, the top town, music blaring from the sound system. It is a nice car, no doubt. Its silver. I made her give me the spare key right away. She has a tendency of locking herself out of her car. One of these days I am waiting for her to call and say she has locked herself inside her car. LOL She is a smart girl, just kind of no common sense at times. I am proud of her too. She is paying for this car as she paid for her last car, making payment, paying the insurance. She has not gotten any handouts from us. Not that we wouldn't, we just don't have it. lol She has promised I can take it for a spin when soldier son is not around. She doesn't want him to drive it. lol
I see a dust trail following an old red Nova
Baby blue eyes, your head on my shoulder
Wait, baby don't move, right there it is
T-shirt hanging off a Dogwood Branch
That river was cold but we gave love a chance
Yeah, yeah to me
You don't look a day over Fast Cars and Freedom
That sunset river bank first time feeling
