I have posted two articles on here, Prey or Predator. These are fictional stories. They come from my mind only and in no way reflect how I really feel about life or my job. LOL It seemed by the comments that some thought I was being real. It is only a story I have been working on and I don't want anyone to think I am psychotic killer in secret.
We had a beautiful weekend here, very warm and sunny. Kota got to go fishing Saturday and he had a blast with his Dad. I think to Kota it is more about the snacks they get rather than the actual fishing. lol I was told I could come next time and they would bring a chair, my book and mp3 player for me. LOL
Tomorrow afternoon Kota will start going to his new babysitter after school. It is my buddy's (john and jake) mom. Well actually their sister but the mom helps out when she is home too. We discussed their rules, my rules etc. I kept asking her what they charge and she kept telling me whatever I could afford. Yesterday we finalized some things and I said $30 a week, for 3 days a week. She said, nope $20 a week. She said we aren't trying to break you. She even said if there are days Kota is under the weather they will still watch him, as long as it isn't something serious. I told her if he is really sick I usually call out of work. When I broached the subject of full days like spring break, she again said whatever I felt like paying. From things I have heard I believe her daughter is disabled in some way and this is a way for her to pick up extra money. And I think I get the family discount since I call jake and john my little brothers.
I am quite relieved by all of this. My son will be graduating soon from his welding course and their plans are up in the air. They are also not very good at communicating their plans. In fact I had to scramble to get Kota's bus changed this week. I was told last Friday that my son's fiance would be going back with him to new jersey on friday. I was upset and let them know, you can't just tell me on the day something is happening. As it turns out their plans changed once again. But I realized I could not depend on them and Kota is my first priority as he is only 8 years old. Plus there are other kids he can play with at Jake's house. Apparently his sister also watches his nieces and nephews. And their house is like 3 minutes from our house.
Well its my day off and I have about a ton of laundry to fold and put away.
