That's Kota today. He is home sick from school. He kept me up all night worrying about his cough. It is a little better now but I ran out for medicine for him. The usual, cough and cold medicine, vicks vapor rub, tea, honey, soup. I was off today anyway so that's a good thing.
I haven't had much sleep. I got off at 11 last night. Hubby had bought me some cream of broccoli soup so I had that, checked blogs and then went and read till I was tired. Then I was up by 6. My eyes feel like sandpaper. I am hoping with Kota not feeling well he will be up for a nap later!
I did have a good day at work yesterday. Alot of people missed me being out sick, especially the CSM's. It was actually a pretty quiet day there yesterday. Hubby and kota came in to visit me last night, and do some shopping. Kota had to hug his favorite cashier, besides me, Erin. She is the one who notices any little change I make to myself and has to proclaim to all of walmart how gorgeous I am.
So we had to get special hair stuff for kota. Now that he has his mohawk, he insists on fixing his hair in the morning. LOL That boy cracks me up! I had a friend once who would let their kids do pretty much anything to their hair. It was her way of letting them express themselves without body piercings or tattoo's.
Kota requested I crochet him a blanket. He picked the colors out, purple and pink. My sister in law joked about his choice of colors and my nephew pointed out there are no gender specific colors! (He happens to be gay.) I will be working on that some today, putting away laundry, doing dishes, etc. A woman's work is never done. But hubby did wash Kota's clothes last night for me. Even though he pretty much worked all weekend being on call. He is a sweetheart, that's for sure!
