Morning everybody...Hope everyone had a good weekend.
Did you watch the opening ceremony for the Olympics?Â Â Â If you didn't you missed the most amazing show.Â Â It was jaw dropping.Â Â How in the world they pulled some of that off, I'll never know...but it was beautiful.
I always think of my dad when I watch because he loved it so.Â Â He would watch every chance he got.Â Â Â I've watched swimming, gymnastics, Volleyball, and some of the basketball.Â Â Â
Yesterday I watched old Doris Day movies....got to see two of my favorites.. Please don't eat the Daisy's ...and With Six you get eggrolls.Â Â Â
The weather was fantastic this weekend, temps in the 80's with low humidity.Â Â Â I got my ears lowered Saturday...love my new dew...it's very short...about an inch all over and very spikey on top...and I colored it again....I was going for "very blonde"...least that's what the box said....I ended up with a more Strawberry blonde color...but I like it too.Â
It's Monday everybody...let put on our happy faces and try not to strangle anybody today.. *grins*

The opening ceremonies were AWESOME! I'm jealous that you got your ears lowered because I need to do that so much...I still can't figure out when I can possibly do it. The back is fine, but the top and sides will need a lawnmower soon...scissors will take just a little too long!

I thought my favorite part was the little 9 year old boy walking with the Chinese flag bearer, but when that man with the torch ran in mid-air to get around to the torch, that was my all-time favorite. The torch was very nice, too - different from the usual.

I wish I had the nerve to do something totally different with my hair. I'm glad there are people like you in the world. I think strawberry blonde is such a nice color.

The opening ceremonies were amazing! I loved the giant LCD screen and the synchronized drummers at the beginning.
Are you seriously getting your ears lowered?

...or is that some sort of southern term?

Yes,it was great fun watching the Olympics.
Lots of swimming and some tennis.It was just one of those
things.Oh!what do I know

The Opening Ceremonies were stupendous!! And the Olympics have been awesome. I'm a huge fan! I watch everything. And, hey! I just chopped all my hair off, too! Very short, a la Jamie Lee Curtis. Love the look!! I feel lighter and perkier. Aren't you and I the cutest things!!

I am not a fan of the olympics... R is tho so I have caught some of em...
