Adrienne had academic team scheduled after school yesterday so I didn't pick her up as I usually do. I left the house at three to get Ashley who gets out at 3:20 in
order to get a good parking place and avoid the madness.
My car phone started ringing but each time I answered, no one was on the line. I knew that it was probably Adrienne but by the time I got confirmation Ashley was due out. We
turned around and picked Adrienne up who was cold, wet and tired from her heavy back pack.

I am so angry at that teacher who by the way gets paid extra
for academic team. It is cancelled more often than not with
absolutely no notice until 3:05 when school is out. It leaves the children stranded. He schedules Academic Meets and they did poorly last time because of lack of practice.
They haven't met since before Christmas and they are due to
have another meet Saturday. I am angry but Ellie is livid.
She plans to complain and when she gets started she can't quit. I don't envy the teacher.
