Does not fall gently on this particular plain. We have had so many storms with it in this unusual July. Storms mean that Rex doesn't feel secure unless he is in our bed. This is not a good thing.

My computer was down yesterday and my telephones are out. I can't report the telephones because 1. there is a fifteen minute wait time for repair service and our car phone minutes are too expensive to waste and 2. Everytime I get on the internet and try to report it, I get kicked off the internet because att&t is supposedly not a secure website. It is my server, go figure. I guess I will just have to go to the kids house and use their phone. Yuk!

We are getting new roofs. It hailed like crazy last week and that is a big hassle. The roofer has given me some good advice. Since we are in an area prone to hail and wind, he suggested that two hundred more on our insurance would give us replacement cost and we wouldn't be stuck with depreciation. He said that in this area you can count on a new roof every five years.
