We are still painting and almost done. This new color for our 2nd guest room which is actually a home office is called Spring Garden and is a lovely shade of green. We have moved all of the books out and are getting ready to pick out carpet. We are going to have them move the furniture since we don't feel up to it. It is a royal mess around here and I am hoping that out of this chaos we can bring order. Ted saves everything. I cut the shoulder pads out of a sweater and I am not kidding he saved them to pad some of the knives in his collection. He is mourning a lot of stuff that I threw away.

We celebrated our twenty fourth anniversary Sunday. We had fun and marveled at how our lives have changed. We had a small wedding...just family and the celebration lasted from two o'clock in the afternoon to early morning. It is so much fun to look at our old wedding pictures and see our mothers trying to look prim after drinking too much champagne. You can be sure that no one thought this marriage would survive the first year. As they say, Time Flys!
