By thwarting change and being as ostructionist as they can,
Republican Senators and Congressmen are tearing our country in two. I don't think we have been this divided since the Civil War.

Surely they can't want a Barbie doll President. I literally feel sick when I see her on tv and see her looking down at her hand to remember the four things she wants for her country.

I hate to think that this is still a racist issue. We should have come a long way from that kind of thinking. I
am afraid of the tea party movement. Joan wrote a very good post on the depression era when Roosevelt had to act
and act quickly to put people back to work and alleviate
some of the misery. If the tea party people had lived through the depression as I did, they would not be that
concerned about the money we have to spend to stimulate the
economy.
