There was no shortage of them at my house last night. The sophistication of some of the costumes amazed me. The ages varied widely from children to adults. Rex loved it.

The candy held out very well. I worried that I might run out and would have to offer apples. That would have been
shameful because Adrienne told me that only old hippies
gave apples. I noticed that the well brought up children only took one piece of candy and the others grabbed a handful.

The overly excited media claimed that trick or treating
would almost surely spread the H1N1 virus. Our local
news loves tragedy and panic and seems incite it at every
opportunity. They also dredge up the most unsavory element
to make comments on the news.

Be that as it may, I had a good time and enjoyed my role as a witch. I tried to watch Night of the Living Dead again but I was unable to stand it.
