There are still paint smears on my arm. I regard it as a badge of honor. We finished the cabinets and they are dazzling. It has made me loathe to mess up the kitchen with cooking. I did bake an angel food cake last night...from a mix of course. I haven't done one from scratch for years.

This is the final day of day camp for the little girls. They are having a reception with cooking, photography and entertainment. Adrienne told me they were serving apple sauce cake. I am going with Ellie. Ted refused so I will bring him some cake.

The kitchen counter tops are coming Tuesday. I need topaint the wainscoting in the dining room but I hate p;ainting and love the result. Laura, Ellie and Ted conspired to make me buy a new refrigerator. It has presence,since it is large and very white. Appliances are not a turn on for me.
It works well and that is all that is necessary.
