Moving could not have been more difficult. We got our furniture on Saturday and spent a week moving boxes and boxes of stuff ninety miles roundtrip and on several days we made two trips. I suffered less than Ted. I had terminal backache from lifting and Ted was actually walking with a cane for several days and his hip still hurts a lot.

Laura was our salvation. She arrived on the 25th and help unpack and organize. She worked and scrubbed cabinets and really made ourlives easier. I hate it that we didn't get to do more fun things. All during the time she was here, we had to cope with Sears, Adt, Att &t, Adrienne andAshley and various other things.

We went to Lowes and got flowers and 2 tomato plants and one zucchini and one yellow crooked necksquash. Rex has stayed out of them since I have really been protective of them.

We are sort of back to normal now and I get to have a pedicure and perm tomorrow. We have really enjoyed the little girls popping in to see us. One of the things I like most about my house is ha ving a dining room so that we can sitdown and enjoy mealtime instead of sitting infront of the tv and gulping our meal. Bobby and Ellie come over for dinner about once a week and we can relax and have
dinnertime conversation.

Our computer was one of the casulties of our move so bear with me. The new keyboard requires a lot more pressure than I am accustomed to giving it and I have to thunk the space bar really hard.

Rex clings to us and doesn't like staying in the back yard. It is mostly concrete, Ted and love it but Rex would like tohave more room to run.

Our lives have changed so much and so quickly. We have nice neighbors of all ages and all colors and they have all been friendly and helpful. We are glad we made the move and are looking forward to finishing up dating the kitchen.
They are making a template of the cabinets tomorrow and we will have new ca binet tops soon. Alas, I will be painting cabinets for a while since they are revolting. I can't describe the color except to say it is the ugliest finishthat I have ever seen. It looks like baby poop.
