We are living in dangerous times. People are harboring so
much hate and organizing their tea parties with little or no knowledge of what they are protesting. Their rah rah girl, Sarah Palin is scattering hatred and misinformation
wherever she goes.

I subscribe to the old fashioned view that hate destroys the one broadcasting it and harms the object of hatred too.
It is hurtful to be spit on and called the N word and very disrespectful of the office they were elected to fulfill. I
find it hard to believe that adults could behave in this fashion.

We have a compassionate President who has had personal
experience with the health care system. If these irresponsible
idiots keep whipping their cohorts into a fury something
horrible is going to happen. They lie with no guilt or shame and gullible people rally to the cause.

The citizens of Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas are ultra religious and ultra conservative. That is an ideal base
for the Republican party. There is an element here that is
extremely prejudiced as well and that helps to fuel the fire
of unreason.

I still cherish a hope that things will settle down and we
can be proud of our country again.
