It has been a rough week for everyone around me. My neighbors on either side of us have big problems that won't go away any time soon. The retired couple on the west lost their youngest daughter a couple of months ago. Now the
doctors have found a mass behind his pancreas.

My east side neighbors have had both their children get divorces and move home with three toddlers. This makes for utter chaos in a bursting at the seams,one family house.

My friend of 50 plus years had a stint put in her heart Monday. When I went over to take food, she was contemplating suicide.

Down the block, an elderly couple is having to sell the home they are living in because he has fallen down stairs
four times recently. They want to buy the house across the street from me. It has been for sale forever because
Dean isn't marketing it aggressively.

All this sadness weighs me down. There doesn't seem to be anything I can do but listen.
