Spring is around the corner and I have the decorating urge big time. First of all, I want to paint one wall of the family room a deep winey red and secondly there is enough travertine left to cover the ugly brick on the fire place and Ted is going to do that because I can't stand the large Viking
who laid the travertine in the bathroom. Then, I have a big kid who comes by and wants me to hire him and I am going to have him clean up the back yard and try to fill up
the holes that Rex so blithely dug.
I am tired of all the plants in the house so the first of April
they will go out on the veranda. The heat is hard on them anyway.
I don't know what to do to the front of the house. It is just
plain ugly but maybe we can soften it with plants and maybe a window box and then we need to paint the trim. I want to
put molding around the sky lights in the family room too.
If I were ten years younger, I would paint all of th e light oak woodwork white .
We just got news that Ted's brother got married to a highschool girl friend....they are both well into their sixties,
and they will be living in her condo in Annapolis. We have
been invited for a visit and when they are here in the spring
we will have a chance to meet her.
I have every thing rounded up for taxes and as soon as all
the paper work comes in that is beyond my control, I am ready to mail it all to Mark. Oh happy day!!
