The Oklahoma Centerfold Art Show had a cash prize of 2,000.
Let me tell you what won the prize. A piece of white fabric that sort of looked like a dress, with buttons on it and stretched between two tree trunks, then wrapped with barbed wire. It was titled Enslaved. It also had a rusty clock and nails fastened to it.

To me, this is just thumbing your nose at real art. My seven year old grandaughter could do this if she were so inclined.

We have real artists among us. What do you think of this kind of thing? I am just not into this kind of conceptual art. I don't get it. Do you?
