After many complications, Ted built me a shelf for the microwave in the utility room. It looks great and is very functional. Since I got the granite counter tops I hate putting anything on them except a pot or two and a basket.
They were my big splurge and totally worth it to me.

Ellie called me about eight and said there were Mexicans running all over the roof and causing their dog to constantly bark. That is the price you pay when you get a new roof. I am not looking forward to but will be glad to have it.

Rex has learned to wiggle out of his harness by pulling backward. He escaped yesterday morning and I had to run to catch him. He started doing the same thing this morning and got out of it again. I caught him by his tail and took him back home. He watched out the window while I continued my walk. I hope it taught him a lesson. He needs the exercise so badly that we may have to come up with something ingenious unless Kristilyn can help me.

Ellie and I are going to a garage sale. She and the girls can no longer stand the banging on the roof.
