Rex nudged me awake at 3:50 to go out and since I was up,
I jumped into my sweater, jeans and boots and went off to get a GPS system at Sears at a black Friday price. Sears is only about 4 blocks from my house.

The parking lot was full but the doors had opened and there
was a teeming mass of humanity inside standing in line for a ticket to buy something. There was also a line to check
out. After you paid for your purchase you had to stand in
line again for your item. Altogether it took an hour and
45 minutes. Will I ever do it again? No! Ted owes me
big time since I left he and Rex snoozing.

Rex goes to bed when we do all by himself on a mat in the
bathroom. He is such a good dog. He is apt to force his attentions on you when you least need them but that is a
doggie habit . He loves to have guests. Guests with children are his special pleasure.

I thought of Elkhound when I was standing in line and hoped that she had the day off. Walmart had the best deals and
it must have been horri ble working there. No more black
Fridays for me. I have had it.
